Nokia C3 to be sold with 1,000 Peso discount on July 31 in the Philippines

If you were shocked when you first learned that Nokia had developed a full QWERTY keyboard-equipped Series 40 featurephone for the masses in the form of the Nokia C3, then I wouldn’t be surprised to learn if you find this next bit of news somewhat hard to believe. Right after the Nokia C3′s official launch day here in the Philippines, where its suggested retail price is 7,250 Pesos, it’s going to be sold with a 1,000 Peso discount that will bring its price down to just 6,250 Pesos.
Oh yes, Nokia’s very first QWERTY messaging S40 phone that looks just as much like a BlackBerry as the Nokia E63, is going to be sold for that very low price on July 31, 2010. And even though this promo is only going to last for a day, there will be plenty of units to go around for everybody since virtually all Nokia stores in the Philippines are participating in this promo.
All you have to do to avail of the discount is to show up at the nearest participating store, inform a salesperson of your intent to buy a Nokia C3, and pony up the right amount of discounted cash for the purchase. I’ve got pictures of a related brochure somewhere and I will upload them a bit later. But you can thank Nokia Philippines now because this promo is definitely a go.
